To all my Northern Friends:

What a beautiful day across the Raleigh, NC region! With sunny skies temperatures soared into the mid and upper 70s this afternoon, about 10 degrees above normal. Tonight, count on clear skies and light winds, and by morning temperatures will drop into the mid and upper 40s.

We could be rewriting the weather history books by Friday afternoon. Plenty of sunshine will combine with a steady southwest breeze to push temperatures into the upper 70s to near 80. The record high for tomorrow is 76, and it looks like a good bet we'll beat it. A great day to kick off the weekend.

Friday night, clouds will increase ahead of a cold front, and mild temperatures are expected. Look for overnight lows only in the mid and upper 50s.

No thank you! I'm so tired of Indian Summer and ready for crisp cold jeans-n-sweaters weather...if for no other reason than to hide my post-baby belly. :)

I hear ya on the belly thing. I just get the flowy shirts that cover my belly. And I do like sweaters too and scarves. But I hate wearing a coat and shoes. I would love to wear flip flops all year!
