I found that out for sure. I know I applied sunscreen all over, and my husband saw me apply it as well. I also after a few hours, applied more. And you know what, I still got sunburn. I got it in the worst places too, My ankles, my wrist, my armpits, and my face. And I used SPF 30 and SPF 50, and sat in the shade. So people, sunscreen is not 100% effective. I think I need to just never go out in the sun again.
And a weird fact: I never got sunburn at all in NC, just tan. So, go figure.
