I bought a box of all occassion cards, just cause I always send out a ton. I mailed one to my grandmom who lives in a studio apartment, and no one takes her anywhere. And I mailed one to a friend of ours that just finshed her residency to become an MD. And she emailed me back and said I was the only one who sent her a card. And then I mailed my aunt one for her birthday and she called me yesterday and said I was the only one who sent her one.
Who knew that a simple card could make such a difference. I just wish the rest of the world could realize how much a little kindness really matters.
